I had an aisle seat right by the gate...big mistake...so this was taken with the camera hidden inside my jacket, & with any luck, pointed in their general direction. Apparently, one cannot question authority at a TOOL concert...they still confiscated my camera. I knew I should have brought two. -_- ...NEXT TIME, MUTHA FUGGAAAS !!!

A personal note to all those who view YouTube concert videos, then make a comment that so-called bootlegs should not exist! Face it; this is a visual-oriented world, and as such we need visual stimulation. Would the porn industry exist if we did not need visual stimuli? YouTube even presents fan concert clips (bootlegs) as a "Featured Video" on the right hand column of these pages, even though they explicitly warn us not to upload music concerts. Lastly, if you are not interested in viewing concert video clips, why did you click on this site? My video clip is very descriptive...it is unlikely it was a mistake, or if it was, simply click the back arrow to navigate away from this page. That is all. I am not interested in engaging in further dialogue on this topic, thanks. Btw, I am a girl, not a dude.

@dontgiveajack Bottom line is, I am grateful people had the foresight not to listen to the no-video rule. Personally, I believe the band does this purposely to INCREASE interest in taping their shows, and increase the band's exposure. Reverse psychology is an? oldy but a goody...we all want what we can't have. =)

I think it's great that you can find their music videos? and songs. but if it is TOOL's decision to stop recordings of the show, then I say respect that. I think maynard and the band are geniuses and whatever their reasons are to promote & protect the band, are legit in my mind.

@dontgiveajack The ONLY reason I was at this show in the first place is because of youtube. I don't listen? to the radio much, and don't recall hearing TOOL on any of the stations I have heard other people playing. None of my circle of friends/family listen to TOOL. I found TOOL on youtube. I bought all their albums (not Salival). Youtube's "crappy" videos CAUSED me to want to go see them live...which I did. If not for youtube, I would not have found them, bought their albums, nor saw them live.

I think the bootlegs take something away from? the band. I don't know what the reasons are but, you must pay to watch the performance. If joe shmoe records the whole concert and puts it on youtube, it may deter the next guy from going. Prime example was the double drum solo. You gotta PAY see that s**t in person. Not from a crappy video.

@rgiczey Totally agree. I really think its just Maynard though, the other guys seem a lot more personable and interactive with the fanbase. At the end of the show they all took a bow and waved to the crowd and whatnot, whereas Maynard just f**ked off somewhere backstage. I've also heard from friends that at other shows, they've all come out and signed autographs and whatnot (with the exception? of Maynard of course). Nonetheless, I guess I can understand why he is the way he is.
